Mr. Fresnel Josaphat, MSHP, MSCS, Esquire is an Attorney & Counselor at Law at Josaphat Law PC where he represents clients in family law, employment and unemployment law, Personal injury, immigration law and several other legal practices. He has been a physicist, computer scientist with more than 15 years experience building hospital-based hardware and software IT infrastructure and medical informatics. He was the technical director for the 3D imaging lab in the radiology department at Massachusetts General Hospital. He started his career as an Associate Radiological Health Physicist at DuPont Radio-Pharmaceuticals Company and has taught Radiological Sciences at Holyoke Community College in Western Massachusetts.
Attorney Josaphat also taught Mathematics and Physics in eleventh and Twelfth grade high school when he was a student in high school and went on to publish a book in physics right after he finished high school.
Attorney Josaphat earned a combined AS/BS degree in Nuclear Medicine and Radiography from Ferris State University in Big Rapids MI, a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and an Master of Science in Radiological Physics and Protection from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Boston University and a Juris Doctor in Law at Massachusetts School of Law. Mr. Josaphat is also licensed to practice law in state and federal courts in Massachusetts.
Attorney Josaphat has published and co-published several books and articles including: Physics, a Study Guide to pass the High School Exam, (published in French) Haiti, 1987, Radiation Physics and Dosimetry, calculated dose, white paper, 1999, FMRI Visualization of Multiple Functional Areas, 2004, Did you know that “e” in email stands for evidence?, 2008. He also participated in several alcoholism and Stop Stroke NIH funded grants at MGH.
Attorney Josaphat is also fluent in several spoken languages and can program computers in more than 7 computer languages.
